It is time for you tip pick your wedding cake and you are dumb founded by all of the choices. Although even before you choose your cake you must find the right person to make it. So below I have put together a small checklist of some of the questions you should ask.

• What is the price per serving and per person
  How many servings you will get from each different size cake you choose
  Know the shapes. Ask if they have heart shaped, square, round etc. Whatever shape choose make sure that you ask if they can provide it
  Can you bring in a photo and they can create it you and your partner statues to put at the top of the cake.
  What does the baker charge for hand made decorations on the cake
  Limit the amount of hand made decorations on the cake. Hand made decorations will usually cost more than pre-made decorations
  Do you provide Cake Tops
  Ask if they charge more for fresh flowers
  Is there an extra charge for cake stands
  Ask about their deposit policy (cake, cake stands, decor etc.)
  Book the appointment for your cake tasting usually a month ahead of time
  How long have they been in business
  Ask to see their portfolio of all of the different wedding cakes they have done
  Ask about the different prices and types of the icing, decorations for the cake and fillings
  
• Make sure you know the exact cost including delivery and set up
  

Just make sure when choosing your baker to do your cake you get everything in writing that you feel might be critical to the planning of your wedding.
